So now that we have that straight - why would anyone sell pictures of any old farm?

You see, I was tired of agriculture being displayed with an old man, overalls and a pitch fork or with a team of horses. To put it bluntly, that isn’t how I view agriculture today.

Yes, I have appreciation for what agriculture once was, but we need to communicate what it is now. If we want the respect and trust of consumers, we need to start acting and displaying agriculture like it really is. Agriculture is expanding + changing to meet the needs of consumers today, but do they see it through our marketing and communication materials?

Agriculture is a moving industry full of innovation and exploration of growing the food, fiber and fuel we need in the most efficient, effective and environmentally friendly way possible.

It’s time for the world to see agriculture how modern farmers view it, actually it’s past time for that.

I finally had enough of my family being portrayed as uneducated and unsophisticated. I wanted the world to be in awe of farmers, like I was. I was already taking pictures of my family’s farm and sharing them on social media.

I just had to make it official. Thanks to some encouragement from family, friends and mentors and Brooke from Rural Gone Urban, a second cousin and the queen of all brands.

Welcome to it, folks. We have some powerful images already available, but we aren’t stopping here. I dream of showing agriculture not only through my eyes, but through the eyes of family farms around America.
